The NHL has organized a league-wide street hockey program, NHL Street, to serve local community centers and schools by providing an athletic and educational program free of charge.

The NHL and Nashville Predators have extended this program into the Middle Tennessee area through Street Pride, providing street hockey equipment (sticks, rubber pucks, no-bounce balls, nets, and protective goalie gear) and start-up street hockey instruction for coaching and administration. The Predators will also follow-up with program centers throughout the year to provide support and plan future clinics.

The Nashville Predators would like to invite community centers, schools and other youth groups to consider becoming a part of this program. Participating in the Street Pride program gives youth the chance to play the game in communities throughout Middle Tennessee. Today, more than one million kids aged 6-16 across North America have participated in NHL Street.

To learn more about the Street Pride program, or for information on how to bring Street Pride to your school or community center, check out the Street Pride Overview or contact the Predators Youth Hockey Department at 615-742-4381.

Centers interested in becoming an official Preds Street Pride site are encouraged to complete and submit the Program Center Recruitment Package.
